Group Fitness Classes For Every Body


AKT offers full-body workouts that combine cardio intervals with strength and toning, which are effective and accessible for all fitness levels. AKT is fueled by positivity and the belief that movement has a powerful, lasting impact. Most classes are 45 minutes while offering some 60 minute classes.

 

AKT CLASSES

DANCE

Dance + Tone + Intervals

 

Party away with full-body toning & dance cardio moves to burn calories and improve coordination. We offer 2 types of Dance classes: Our Signature AKT DANCE class which offers choreographed dance combined with strength intervals. We also offer Cardio DANCE which is purely dancing away the entire class getting your heart rate up.

BANDS

Box + Bands + Intervals

 

Move to the beat while you focus on balance, agility, and full body conditioning using our unique overhead resistance bands and AKT step box. This class offers strength and cardio throughout the class that is fun and nothing else like it in the area.

Tone + Condition + Recover

 

Burn out targeted muscle groups that’ll leave you sore, dripping sweat, and wanting more. This class is our only low impact class, which offers deep isometric full body training that helps strengthen and tone in a whole new way.

Cardio + Strength + Circuits

 

Burst into rounds of powerful strength exercises to build lean muscle.  This class combines cardio and strength training that are broken down into timed intervals and circuits. This class moves quickly but it gives you a great sweat as you're working to see the change.

BANDS + DANCE

BANDS+DANCE

 

BANDS + DANCE incorporates our two signature classes into one fun and sweaty 45 minute experience! Class starts with BANDS and goes through alternating intervals of cardio that incorporate our innovative bands and box, and strength that works the upper and lower body. Halfway through the class we transition into DANCE by first learning and practicing our AKT Signature Moves and then learning choreography. After breaking down a portion of our current dance routine, you'll get to perform, let loose and have an all-out party under our mirror ball!

OWNER CREATED PROGRAMS

Strength +  Cardio + Toning + Circuits

 

Workout with Candace the owner as she creates full-body workout programs that shift the main focus every 6 weeks, while creating new content every 2-3 weeks within each program. This allows a progression into the workouts allowing you to build strength, stamina and form as you work towards your desired goals. Candace's high energy will help keep you pumped up through your workouts as she makes it her goal for you to see and feel the results. All you have to do is stick with it for success!

This high energy class is designed for a full-body workout focusing on strength movements that are broken down by upper body, lower body and core. STRENGTH is formatted in a Boot Camp style set up with different stations that are timed and rotated throughout the class.

KICKBOXING

Kickboxing +  Cardio + Strength

 

This full body Kickboxing class helps build lean muscle mass by combining plyometric full body power exercises, with cardio and strength movements in timed intervals, all while building confidence and a sense of purpose.

STRENGTH TRAINING

 

This class is designed for a full-body workout focusing on strength exercises that are broken down by upper body, lower body and core. PUMP is just straight resistance training that you can lift as heavy or as light as you wish and helps you with good form and results making you stronger and leaner or bulkier (whatever you desire).

BARRE

Barre + Tone +  Condition + Flexibility

 

BARRE classes focus on the lower body and core, developing strength and flexibility from the ankles up through the calves and knees, thighs, glutes and abdominals. Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga and Pilates.
